Ramesh Kesanupalli (Founder FIDO Alliance) To Speak About New Paradigm for Digital Identity
DID Alliance Korea announced today that Ramesh Kesanupalli will be a keynote speaker at the main launch event of the DID Alliance Korea 2019. The event will be held on October 22, 2019 at the Grand Hall located on the 7th Floor of EL Tower, Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea
Ramesh,
Founder of the global online biometric authentication standardization
organization, FIDO Alliance, will speak on “The Importance of a Global DID
Alliance and a Vision of the Next Paradigm of Digital Identity”.
Ramesh
established the FIDO Alliance In 2012, in order to bring about a revolution for
passwordless online authentication using biometrics.
The
FIDO Alliance continues to expand includes more than 250 major global IT
companies including Google, Facebook, Amazon, Intel, Microsoft, PayPal,
Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Raonecure,
Nok Nok Labs, RSA, BC Card, NTT Docomo, and LINE.
Now,
Kesanupalli will turn his attention to Decentralized Identity as the co-founder
with Soon Hyung Lee, CEO of RaonSecure, to establish a new global alliance
devoted to defining a new frame work for online identity Which would establish
trust and accountability in the digital world while preserving the security and
privacy for the user: DID Alliance.
Kesanupali
said, “We need to create a new way to offer identity to everyone to provide
secure access to social infrastructure such as culture, education, and medical
care, and to develop the global DID Ecosystem and the development of the DID
industry. We will be proactive in helping companies join the DID Alliance, and
we will propose a new transparent policy for DID that everyone can trust and
offer a variety of new business models.”
