On March 9, 2020, the etnews reported the usage record of the MMA's blockchain-based simple authentication service.
Raonsecure, a
member of DID Alliance, provided the blockchain-based identification platform
'OmniOne' to the Military Manpower Administration. The service has started on
January 21st, 2020 and the number of simple authentication* issued**
has respectively increased from 8,500 times to 52,000 times as of March 9th,
2020. (*number of times a user has performed a blockchain-based simple
authentication, **issued: process needed to register to service for using
simple authentication Service)
The number of uses
exceeded 50,000 in a month, which means that users are continuously using the
service.
